Comments : Its time I started to learn Dutch. Even though I have a Dutch partner she speaks fairly good English we never speak Dutch. We visit Deventer and although I understand most of our friends say it is difficult to join in the conversation. The first phrase I learnt was "Ik heb een lek in de band" and my first solo attempt at Dutch was something like "Kan ik een Nederlands auto-sticker heb?" in the tourist office opposite Central Station. This won't get me very far will it?
