I've known a dutch girl for
almost 7 years now, and although she speaks excellent English (her mother is from
Birmingham), I've always said I'd learn. I visited Holland a few times, and spent
New Year there last year (2004/5). Although the people are always friendly and happy
to switch tounges, I would like to be able to at least hold a small conversation
in Dutch. I know very little of the language, though reading is not too much of a
problem as i seem to be able to work out whats going on when it's written down! Aside
from speaking English, I also speak fluent Welsh, so if there's anybody who speaks
Dutch who happens to be crazy enough to want to learn Welsh, mail me and maybe we
can exchange languages!! :) |
