Comments : I suppose I am typically English, expecting everyone else to be able to converse with me. Well now I have found a friend on the internet and she is Dutch. There is not really a problem as she speaks good English but it has made me feel really bad and so I would like to learn Dutch. I have no knowledge of the Dutch language at all, my only insight to another language was 30+ years ago when I learnt some French at school.
