I am getting married, so I will be living in the Netherlands
in January. I need to learn the language to be able to function there as a literate
person. I think this would be another good resource for practising my Dutch skills,
along with having my fiance teach me. Also, I will be attending a school for foreigners
living in Holland who wish to learn Dutch. Together this will hopefully give me a
rounded way of learning the language. Currently, my knowledge of Dutch is fairly
limited. I can manage simple sentences, and am improving with more complex ones.
My reading/writing skills are better than my speaking/listening skills because I
spend most of my time now learning Dutch online. But, hopefully in January my speaking/listening
skills will catch up to my reading/writing skills. |
