Hi I am involved with a
Dutch man, who is doing a Phd at UCT. We are involved now for almost 2 years, my
mother tongue is Afrikaans, but we mainly communicate in English. It is also difficult
for me to get to know his family better, because English is not their strongest language.
I understand the topic of a conversation in Dutch, but cannot follow it. We are
planning to get engaged later this year, therefore my future lies with Dutch speaking
people. Any advice or assistance will be greatly appreciated. Kind Regards Wendy |
