 Hi,
I am a native born Hollander that was transplanted to the USA at the age of 7. In
order to assimulate into our new enviroment my father thought it best not to speak
Dutch anymore not even at home. Now 50 years later I have a renewed interest in learning
Dutch. it is also possible that within 2 years I may be doing business there, therefore
I feel the desire to become fluent once again. I have been studying for just a short
time now and I'm finding alot is coming back relatively quickly. This I find very
encouraging. Obviously, my ablities when we left Holland was one of a 7 year old
child so it leaves me with a long way to go in learning more complex conversations.
First, I am planning on just reviewing the grammer and basic vocabulary list that
I have found on the internet. Then those have been exhausted, I will want to seek
other sources to be able to continue. I welcome any suggestions that other may have
to offer.Thank you for having this availabe. |
