Comments : The main reason for my wanting to learn the Dutch language is that I was born in Amsterdam in 1946. I lived in Haarlem for about three years. Then when I was five my mother and I moved to Canada where my father was. My mother and father met during the end of the war. He was a Canadian soldier who my mother fell in love with. I have a small number of relatives in Holland and would like to converse with them. Oh, did I mention I still remember some Dutch. I have lost quite a bit and would like to learn to speak Dutch again.
