Comments : I spent a year doing service work in The Netherlands during 2002-2003. I loved the country, the people and the culture. I lived with a Dutch family for six of the months and was able to pick up quite a bit of the language. To my disapointment, though, much of the Dutch language has left me since returning to America and having no one around me who speaks it. Part of me is and will always be in Holland and I would love to go back some day.
