Comments : I went to Bonaire in Oct '03, and since Dutch is the official language of the ABCs I would like to become sufficiently proficient to use it there and in the rest of the Dutch Caribbean. I studied German in high school and college, but though that was a LONG time ago, the similarities have helped tremendously. I find the key to learning a language is to treat it as a hobby, not as class. If you're working at it, you're not enjoying it and won't stay with it very long.
