Comments : I worked on an IBM project for 5 months in the Netherlands.
My work was all in English, but I learned a little Dutch
from my colleages by way of small talk.
I found the Netherlands to be so nice that when I returned
to the USA, I still tried to learn Dutch from books.
My level is probably intermediate.
Ik heb ruim 5 maanden bij IBM in Nederland gewerkt.
Mijn werk was helemaal in het Engels, maar ik leerde een
beetje Nederlands van mijn collega's bij koetjes en kalfjes.
Ik vond Nederland zo leuk dat toen ik terug naar VS kwaam,
probeerde ik toch het Nederlands van boekjes te leren.
Ik sta waarschijnlijk op een middelbaar niveau.
