I loved holland immediately now I am back to italy...time passes by.. so... I really would like to have some suggestion about learning dutch and find some ways to go there. I was thinking to enroll myself to the university and learn duth (as a begginer) following a course for foreign students... I did that in hamburg... it was great.. I have not enrolled myself to anykind of course in my home city... long topic can I enroll myself directly to the univerisity in amsterdam (italian literature) and start baby steps right up there? I am also looking for somebody here in Torino able to teach something... do you think I can get some help from the embassy in order to find some dutch mothertongue "creature" living here? thank you for your co-operation elena

I have studied German for 5 years at high school and with that extra bit of education I can understand quite a number of the Dutch sentences without even really getting to learn the language. I have been to the Netherlands once before, but unfortunately only for 1 day. But what I saw was enough for me to want to learn the language and stay there for much longer than just one day.
